Only after a match you can chat in the app. You can do this in-case you want to chat a bit more before meeting or if you need to better arrange a spot at your location to meet. The good news is you are chatting privately because, unless you give it to them (we recommend not to at this point), you aren’t sharing a your name or number or any personal contact details.

Couple of things to point out:

• chat only works with those you’ve matched with;
• only works when you are both at the location;
• doesn’t share your name or phone number (we don’t even know that to share);
• your chats delete when you leave (just like your photo)! </aside>

So if you meet someone you want to stay in contact with go chat with them in-person. And if not no harm, no foul!
