Generally not at all. Any person at any location can create a Swoop for others to join. Sometimes locations might promote that but it is unnecessary for a Swoop and Swoopchat doesn’t require anything from a location to participate. So basically the location and Swoopchat have no formal relationship.

Sometimes events and locations will work with Swoop to advertise on our platform but that is the extent of that relationship. We clearly highlight these events so the user understand that it may have a greater Swoopchat use.

Rarely Swoopchat will sponsor an event and those will also be clearly marked and marketed. At these events you will see free Swoopchat swag, Swoopchat ambassadors, and stuff.
